The Blurb:
I expected a life of music.
I expected to raise my son.
It took one look to make everything change.
I never expected happiness.
I never expected to find her.
I never expected to feel desire.
I never expected I’d be a family man.
I never expected to be loved.
I never expected to fall in love.
They say you should expect the unexpected, I didn’t realize my unexpected would be the forever kind.
The Review:
I have been waiting for this book for a while, it was one of my top 10 'most looking forward to' (along with Wethering the Storm, Until You (Fall Away 1.5), Rock my Bed and of course Cherrie Lynn's Take me On) So here it is, the long awaited sequel to the awesome Forever, my Girl (FMG) and boy what a sequel it is!
We follow the story of the ever patient, tattooed hot Harrison and the grieving widow Katelyn (who we both first meet in FMG). It is an beautiful, often emotional, love story - with some pretty darn hot sex scenes. The bike and the dresser spring immediately to mind.....
It's a story of heartache, heartbreak, over coming preconceptions and healing. The loss of a parent/loved one is handled very sensitively by Heidi and it is realistic (it's something that I went through nearly 20 years ago). The kids are just adorable (seriously very very cute) and of course Josie and Liam make quite a few appearances through out.
It was one of those books that I kept thinking about after I had finished it.
My rating? 5 stars and one choccie biccie.
